Joffrey’s Las Mimosas
Joffrey’s Las Mimosas offers contemporary fine dining with a French twist. Joffrey Charles is a French born chef who was raised in Normandy and has worked in fine dining restaurants around the world.
Joffrey’s Las Mimosas offer a varied menu, including such delights as pan fried scallops, cauliflower puree, crispy ham, apple julienne and a tangy vinaigrette.

Konfusion Tapas Bar
Konfusion offers a delicious range of tapas, wine and cocktails to die for. The prawn pil-pil and the duck salad are firm favourites, but make sure you leave room for dessert. The home-made mousses are among the best you will taste anywhere on the Costa del Sol. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Also try anything with melted/griddled Manchego cheese – delicious! Konfusion’s summer hours in July, August and September are 6pm till midnight.
Situated on the road which runs down from behind the BP petrol station to the sea in La Cala, El Olivo offers excellent cuisine in a stunning location. Terrace tables surround a central bar in a pretty courtyard, draped with flowers and plants. The a la carte menu is extensive and a wide choice of daily ‘specials’ are also available. The restaurant is open from 7pm. Meat lovers should try the Tournedos Steak Rossini. Also offering a wide choice of fish and vegetarian dishes, the fresh turbot is a real highlight. Friendly service and delicious food make El Olivo a huge hit in La Cala.

From delicious lunches, including steak with caramelised onion in pitta bread to a la carte dinners, racks of lamb and fresh fish, El Gusto caters for all tastes. Recommended dishes include pure acorn-fed Iberian ham, pure grilled Japanese Kobe beef with roasted potatoes, grilled octopus with roasted potato cream and paprika and cous-cous salad with summer vegetables and smoked lamb. Recommended for meat lovers is the roast suckling pig in sour apple with baby vegetables. The elegant restaurant is ideal for long, summer nights and opens for lunch from 1-4pm and for dinner from 7-11.30pm.
